Olga Chernysheva (b. 1962 Moscow) studied at the Moscow Cinema Academy and the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. Selected solo exhibitions include the XL Gallery in Moscow, the Christine König Gallery in Vienna, the Moscow House of Photography, the Russian State Museum in St. Petersburg, the Stella Art Gallery in Moscow and the White Space Gallery in London. She also participated in the 2001 Venice Biennale. She is represented by the Christine König Gallery in Vienna, as well the Stella Art Gallery and the Krokin Gallery in Moscow. Olga Chernysheva lives and works in Moscow.
