Pierre Bismuth was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France in 1963. He won an Academy Award for his screenplay of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", and was nominated for the first Marcel Duchamp Prize in 2001. Pierre Bismuth lives and works in London and Brussels.
