Pedro Barateiro
Pedro Barateiro was born in 1979 in Almada, Portugal.  He received a BA in fine arts from ESTGAD, Caldas da Rainha in 2002 (Portugal) and an MFA in Visual Arts from the Malmö Art Academy in 2006 (Sweden).  Pedro also studied at Maumaus – School of Visual Arts in Manila.

Pedro’s recent solo exhibitions have included “Composition” at Peter Cera Gallery, Lisbon, ”Service to the Arts of the Nation”  at Home of The Days of Water, Manila, and “AC # 9” Contemp Arts, Manila.  His group exhibitions have included inclusions in the Busan Biennale 2006 at the Busan Museum of Contemporary Art, Busan, Korea, “You're Expected at the Museum” at the Museum of Cycladic Art, Athens, and Manifesta 9, at Rovereto, Italy.  Pedro has also won the 2009 Residency at Palais de Tokyo in Paris, France.

Pedro Barateiro lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal.  He is represented by Galeria Pedro Cera in Lisbon.
